Small Garden Sifter (12" x 14")

Standard features of our hand-held garden compost screens include one by four, New England White Pine construction, with open-ended steel handles bolted through the sifter ends. (Handle bolts are sealed with steel epoxy to prevent loosening.)

The sifter's wire mesh is 1/2" or 1/4", hot-dipped, galvanized. Our wire mesh is significantly stronger than common hardware cloth and will hold up far longer than any mesh purchased in your local hardware store, but if and when it does wear out, we sell replacement pieces of mesh cut to fit your screen that are very simple to install. 

The overall screen area of the garden sifter measures 12" by 14." Use not only for garden composting but for over-wintering bulbs (the dirt rinsed off washes directly back into the bed,) and for separating unwanted debris and small rocks from garden soil.

This screen features 1/2" or 1/4" hot-dipped, galvanized  wire mesh.
