Hand-held Garden Compost Sifter (14" x 20")

Standard features of our hand-held garden compost screens include one by four, New England White Pine construction, with open-ended steel handles bolted through the sifter ends. (Handle bolts are sealed with steel epoxy to prevent loosening.) The sifter's wire mesh is a 19 gauge, hot-dipped, galvanized (far sturdier than most wire mesh,) with openings between the weave that measure approximately 1/2" or approximately 1/4". The overall screen area of the garden sifter measures 14" by 20." Use not only for garden composting but for over-wintering bulbs (the dirt rinsed off washes directly back into the bed,) and for separating unwanted debris and small rocks from garden soil.

This screen features 1/2" or 1/4"hot-dipped, galvanized wire mesh.
